This is a beautiful upgrade to your Tiger I Upper Hull, however buyer will have to prepare for some minor modification. The upgrade metal towing cable set comes in a pair. Each has a knob underneath the shackle, where it can be fitted into the original holes. But the trick is here, the original holes are slight smaller.
What we did, we took a slightly bigger diameter drill bit, and expanded the hole diameter. Then it will fit perfectly. Because the metal towing cable is made of metal, it is very reluctant to get bended. Therefore, we are selling the metal cable fixer together. Because you must use the fixer to hold the cable in place.
The second trick is here, the original fixer was attaching with only one hole. The upgrade metal fixer has two knobs underneath. Drill bit time ! We recommend buyer to use a pencil to measure the position, where you will be drilling the two holes nearby the original position. Or if you are a long time modeler, can judge the distance by naked eyes. You can drill right away. The original towing cable decoration is made by plastic, it does not have as good texture as the metal version.
