1/10 Scale Radio Control Mad Truck Off-Road Buggy (READY TO RUN)
Ex Tax: $176.70
As its name implies, the 1/10 scale Mad Truck Buggy is not meant for regular concrete road. It is built for tough off road terrian, muds, woods etc... The Mad Truck chassis is made of Aluminum alloy, very durable material. After a couple hours of extreme driving with our testing team, we did not manage to bend it slightly. The Mad Truck buggy comes standard with a powerful Type 550 brushed motor, quick enough, unless you demand very very quick performance, then you have to go for the brushless version. The type 550 motor is controlled by the new generation 320A speed control unit, even under heavy load driving condition, the speed control unit wont go busted. What we found out in the test, if you want to fully unleash the potential power for the 550 motors, make sure you get the upgrade Ni-MH 3000mAH battery. It is such as significant different between the performance of the standard Ni-cd, and the upgrade Ni-Mh.
All suspension linkage are adjustable, you can change the wheels profile base on your driving habit, toe-in, toe-out... your choice. The standard servo motor equipped in the Mad truck buggy is the 6kg-m type with internal plastic gears. If you are thinking to drive this buggy mostly off road, especially in muds, we recommend the upgrade version 9kg-m with internal steel geartrain. It makes stronger steering definitely. The package itself comes standard with a 27MHz frequency Pistol style transmitter. The steering knob has a thin sponage rim around it, therefore it gives you a quite comfortable feeling. Full digital proportional throttle control, the transmitter has built in LCD screen, where it tells you the remaining transmitter battery level, and trimming details with the servo motor. Forget to mention, like an Audi Quattro, this buggy also has permanent 4WD system. This 4WD system gives the buggy quick acceleration response, and unrivalled handling.
